Estate and Endowment Planning
Make a lasting gift to the Jacksonville Public Library Foundation in your will or estate plan. Your generosity will have a long-term impact on our mission to provide learning resources and information services to the people of Jacksonville through the Library.
You can do this in several ways:
- Designate a specific amount or a specific percentage of your estate as a gift to the Jacksonville Public Library Foundation.
- Name the Jacksonville Public Library Foundation as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
- Designate part or all of an IRA or retirement plan account.
- Designate your bequest as an endowment that will support the Library on an annual and on-going basis.
Depending upon your circumstances, you may be able to: reduce income, gift, and estate taxes; secure a source of cash flow for the rest of your life; and/or reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes.
Please let us know if you have already made a provision for us in your will.
